Return & Refund Policy

Ourcade Custom Arcades LLC

Ourcade Custom Arcades LLC (“Ourcade”) manufactures custom arcade machines according to each customer’s selected specifications. Because each arcade is made to order and may require materials purchased specifically for that build, the following return, cancellation, and refund terms apply.

1. Custom-Built Products and Returns

  • Completed custom arcade machines are not eligible for voluntary returns or refunds due to a change of mind, personal preference, dissatisfaction with approved customization choices, or no longer wanting the product.
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving their selected cabinet model, artwork, controls, gaming system, colors, and upgrades before production.
  • This restriction does not eliminate applicable rights or remedies for manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or products that do not conform to agreed specifications.

2. Cancellations Before Materials Are Purchased or Production Begins

  • Customers may request cancellation before any order-specific materials or components have been purchased and before production labor has begun.
  • An approved cancellation at this stage is subject to a 5% cancellation fee based on the total order amount, subject to applicable law.
  • The refundable amount is the amount already paid, less the applicable cancellation fee, up to the amount paid. For an order paid in full, this generally means a 95% refund.

3. Cancellations After Materials Are Purchased or Production Begins

  • Once order-specific materials or components have been purchased or production labor has begun, payments are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
  • Custom materials and electronics may not be returnable, reusable, or recoverable at their original cost.
  • Cancellation requests after this stage are reviewed individually. Ourcade will honor any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.

4. Deposits and Partial Payments

  • Deposits, installment payments, and other payments toward a custom arcade order are subject to the cancellation terms above.
  • Before order-specific purchases or production labor begin, the 5% cancellation fee is calculated from the total order amount, not merely the deposit or installment received. Any refund is limited to the amount actually paid, subject to applicable law.
  • Any separate payment-plan or layaway terms disclosed and agreed to at purchase also apply to the extent permitted by law.

5. Production Estimates and Special Deadlines

  • Custom arcade production generally takes an estimated 6–8 weeks after order acceptance and finalization of required customization details. This is a production estimate, not a freight transit estimate.
  • Customers needing an arcade by a particular date must communicate that deadline before placing the order. A requested deadline is guaranteed only if expressly accepted by Ourcade in writing before purchase.
  • Normal variations in production schedules do not automatically qualify an order for cancellation or refund. Ourcade will comply with applicable shipping-delay notices, customer-consent requirements, and cancellation or refund rights.

6. Defective Products and Shipping Damage

  • The no-voluntary-return policy does not eliminate applicable rights for defective products, damaged shipments, or goods that do not conform to agreed specifications.
  • Cabinet and electronic component issues are addressed under our Warranty Policy.
  • Freight damage and delivery inspection procedures are addressed under our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
  • Customers should contact Ourcade promptly if a problem occurs.

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.
  • The time for funds to appear may depend on the payment processor or financial institution.
  • Refunds required by applicable law will be issued within the legally required timeframe.

8. Exceptions and Legal Rights

  • Voluntary exceptions to this policy must be expressly approved in writing by Ourcade management and apply only to the identified order or circumstances.
  • Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
