Our Ourcade PC Series arcade machines support a wide variety of gaming platforms and an extensive library of games, from classic arcade favorites to more advanced gaming systems.

While your arcade’s built-in controls are ready for supported games, certain systems and titles may require additional accessories for the best gaming experience. Depending on the games you want to play, these may include a keyboard and mouse, handheld controllers, steering wheels, guitars, light guns, or other compatible devices.

Please note that additional controllers and accessories are not included unless specifically selected with your order. Some accessories may require additional setup or configuration.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth USB dongles are optional accessories that must be purchased separately if needed. Wi-Fi dongles are available for purchase through Ourcade, and Bluetooth dongles will be available soon. These accessories are not included with your arcade unless specifically selected with your order.

Important: Before using your arcade, we strongly recommend watching the Arcade-One tutorial videos linked below. These guides explain the software, system features, controller setup, and important operating procedures to help you get the most out of your Ourcade PC Series arcade.

Arcade-One Video Playlist

Follow the instructions below to safely power on your Ourcade PC Series arcade machine.

Upright Arcade Models

1. Connect the provided power cable to the power connection on the back of your arcade cabinet. Plug the other end into a working electrical outlet.
2. 45-Inch Models Only: Use the provided remote to turn on the display and select HDMI 1.
3. Press and hold the power button on the speaker panel for approximately 2 seconds, then release it.
4. Allow the system to boot. Your arcade should automatically load the main gaming menu.

Pedestal Arcade Models

1. Connect the provided power cable to the power connection on the back of your arcade cabinet. Plug the other end into a working electrical outlet.
2. Connect the provided HDMI cable to the HDMI connection on the back of the pedestal and the HDMI input on your TV or monitor.
3. Turn on your TV or monitor and select the HDMI input connected to your arcade.
4. Press and hold the power button on the back of the arcade cabinet for approximately 2 seconds, then release it.
5. Allow the system to boot. Your arcade should automatically load the main gaming menu.

Important Power Safety Information

Never disconnect power or force the PC to shut down during normal operation. Improper shutdowns can cause software issues or file corruption.

Always use the proper shutdown procedure when turning off your arcade. If your system becomes unresponsive, refer to Arcade-One’s troubleshooting instructions before attempting a forced shutdown.

This guide will help you identify the buttons and controls used to navigate menus, select games, and enjoy your arcade.

Control panel configurations may vary depending on your arcade model and selected upgrades.

PC Control Panel Layout

Properly shutting down your Ourcade PC Series arcade is extremely important. Incorrect shutdowns can cause file corruption, system errors, and potentially require additional reconfiguration or repair services.

How to Safely Shut Down Your Arcade

1. Press the Back/Esc button on your arcade control panel until the “Would you like to exit?” prompt appears.
2. Highlight Yes and press Enter to confirm.
3. Allow the system several minutes to complete the shutdown process.
4. Once the PC has completely shut down, you may turn off the arcade cabinet’s main power switch.

Important Safety Reminders

• Never unplug your arcade while the PC is running.
• Do not hold down the PC power button to force a shutdown during normal operation.
• Always wait until the PC has fully shut down before turning off the cabinet’s main power switch.
• If your arcade freezes or becomes unresponsive, follow Arcade-One’s troubleshooting instructions for safely shutting down a frozen system.

Important: Improper shutdowns may result in corrupted files and additional service charges if system reconfiguration or repairs are required.

Original Microsoft branded Xbox 360 controllers are plug and play. These can be purchased anywhere they’re sold or you can use your existing controllers as long as they’re original Microsoft branded and not third party.

Both wired or wireless controllers will work. If using wireless you will need a wireless receiver. A single receiver will work for up to 4 controllers, you DO NOT need one wireless receiver per controller.

For the 2TB, Budget 2TB and CRT GroovyMAME systems, you can use up to 4 Xbox One / Series X / Series S controller. For these systems, you must use one of the following wireless receivers:

If playing games with 2 or more players on the 8TB or 20TB systems, it is recommended to use Xbox 360 controllers or the third party Xbox One controllers below.  If you still want to use original Xbox One controllers for multiplayer gaming, you can do so by pairing each Xbox One controller to one of the following 8Bitdo wireless adapters, more on that in the 8Bitdo section.

Third Party Xbox One / Series X / Series S Controllers

These controllers work well and Windows recognizes them as Xbox 360 controllers. Each controller includes a wireless dongle, you cannot pair multiple controllers to a single dongle.

Below are two videos showing how to easily pair original Playstation 4 or Playstation 5 controllers to your Arcade-One system. The first video is shorter for quick set up and the second one goes into more detail.

Any controller connected through one of these adapters is recognized as an Xbox controller meaning Windows will think you are playing with an Xbox controller even if you’re not! These adapters support many controllers, we have tested the following for 2 player gameplay:

– Sony Playstation 4 Controllers

– Sony Playstation 5 Controllers

– Microsoft Xbox One Controllers (must be model 1708 or newer, the really old model 1697 controllers won’t work)

– 8Bitdo Bluetooth Controllers (we haven’t tested them all but any 8Bitdo Bluetooth Controller such as the SN30 Pro should work)

Please note that you need one 8Bitdo Wireless Adapter per controller. You’ll also want to put the adapter in Xinput mode. Instructions for that can be found on the 8Bitdo support page HERE.

Scroll down, choose the black USB Adapter 2, click on “Manual” and select the controller you’re using, then select Windows. Look at the “manual setting” section under FAQ to see how to put the adapter into Xinput mode.

Sinden light guns require a one-time initial setup before use with your Ourcade PC Series arcade. Arcade-One provides an automated installer and instructional videos to guide you through the process.

Start with the main setup video below, which covers most supported games. Certain games and gaming systems, including some TeknoParrot titles, require additional configuration.

Follow the additional tutorials below for game-specific setup instructions. We recommend completing the initial setup before attempting to configure individual games.

Legacy Customer Support: Ourcade no longer sells Ultimarc AimTrak light guns. However, we continue to provide these setup resources for customers who previously purchased or currently own compatible AimTrak light guns.

AimTrak light guns require an initial setup and calibration process. Follow the Arcade-One instructional videos below to configure your light guns for supported games.

Some TeknoParrot games require additional configuration using Arcade-One’s TeknoParrot Gun Wizard. Refer to the corresponding tutorial below for instructions.

Logitech G29 Steering Wheel

The Logitech G29 steering wheel is compatible with supported Ourcade PC Series systems powered by Arcade-One. Although the wheel is designed to work with these systems, an initial setup process may be required before using it with your arcade games.

Watch the Arcade-One instructional videos below to learn how to enable the steering wheel, configure controls, and use it with supported racing games. Certain games, including some TeknoParrot titles, may require additional setup.

Steering Wheel Availability: Ourcade offers compatible steering wheels as optional accessories for purchase. Steering wheels are not included with your arcade unless specifically selected and purchased with your order.

Shipping Information: Depending on product availability at the time your arcade is completed, steering wheels and related accessories may ship separately from your arcade machine. If shipped separately, they may arrive at a different time than your arcade.

Ourcade PC Series arcade machines support a variety of guitar controllers for playing games such as Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Clone Hero.

Compatibility and setup requirements may vary depending on the guitar brand, model, and gaming system. Some guitar controllers are preconfigured, while others may require additional setup before use.

Important: Guitar controllers are not included with your arcade unless specifically selected with your order. Compatible controllers may need to be purchased separately.

LEDBlinky is arcade lighting software that allows compatible Ourcade PC Series systems to display customized LED button animations and lighting effects.

Depending on your control panel configuration, LEDBlinky can provide animated lighting patterns, color transitions, and effects that respond to music or game audio.

You can adjust existing LEDBlinky animations and lighting settings to personalize your arcade experience. Available customization options depend on your installed LED controllers and system configuration.

Important: LEDBlinky requires compatible lighting hardware and properly configured software. Not all Ourcade control panel configurations support programmable lighting animations.

LEDBlinky includes an Animation Editor that allows you to create personalized lighting effects for compatible arcade control panels.

Using the Animation Editor, you can design custom LED patterns, adjust colors and brightness, create fading effects, and build animated lighting sequences for your arcade buttons.

Creating Custom LED Animations

1. Open the LEDBlinky Animation Editor on your arcade PC.
2. Load an existing animation or create a new animation using your configured LED layout.
3. Customize the lighting colors, patterns, and animation frames.
4. Preview your animation and make any necessary adjustments.
5. Save your completed animation and configure LEDBlinky to use it for the desired lighting event.

Important: Custom animations require compatible programmable LED hardware and a properly configured LEDBlinky installation. Available effects depend on your arcade’s control panel configuration.

Pixelcade Companion allows you to browse available marquee artwork, select a default marquee, upload custom images, and adjust supported display settings.

1. Turn on your arcade and allow the Pixelcade software to start.
2. Open a web browser on your arcade PC.
3. Enter http://localhost:8080 in the address bar to open Pixelcade Companion.
4. Select Browse Artwork to explore available marquee images.
5. Use Set Default Marquee to choose the artwork displayed when no game is selected.
6. Use Upload Custom Artwork to add your own compatible images.

Important: These instructions apply to systems equipped with a compatible Pixelcade marquee and configured Pixelcade software. Available features may vary depending on your installed hardware and software version.

If your Pixelcade marquee is not displaying artwork or responding correctly, try the following:

1. Restart your arcade PC and allow the Pixelcade software to load.
2. Open a web browser on your arcade PC and visit http://localhost:8080 to check whether Pixelcade Companion is running.
3. If the marquee does not change when selecting games, open Settings > Front End Setups in Pixelcade Companion and check for configuration issues.
4. If game artwork is missing, open the Updates section in Pixelcade Companion and check for artwork updates.
5. If the issue continues, consult the official Pixelcade troubleshooting guide linked below.

Important: Avoid changing advanced software settings or reinstalling Pixelcade without following the appropriate instructions for your arcade configuration.
